How do I lower my exhaust?

This video depicts the necessary techniques to lower your exhaust when installing a trailer hitch.

"To lower the exhaust, you want to separate the rubber isolators from the exhaust hanger rod. To do this, spray lubricant or a soapy water mixture on to each side of the isolators for easy removal. Then use a pry bar as a lever to separate the rubber isolator from the exhaust hanger rod. It is always a good idea to support your exhaust system when lowering. Use a wire hanger to support the exhaust from hanging freely."

Written by Isabella Friday, July 10, 2015

This short video will teach you how to properly load a trailer. The most important thing to consider is how the weight of your cargo is distributed onto your trailer. The ideal distribution is to have 60% of the weight in front of the trailer axle, and 40% behind. Its also very important to make sure your cargo is secured properly. Always practice safe towing!
